Our house is over 200 years old. It is surrounded by a park-like garden and bordered by the river Yonne.

The hamlet Chandelier is situated in the western part of the Morvan, one of the most beautiful natural parks in France which features wooded hills, rivers and lakes, ancient castles and quaint villages.
At a distance of 12 km you will find the prosperous market town of Corbigny, and at 25 km Chateau Chinon, the capital of the Morvan.
Nevers, the capital of the departement (County) is at about 50 km. Historic cities, such as Vezelay and Avallon, are within 30 km.

Bed and Breakfast La Chandelle

The french breakfast is available from 8:00 till 10:00 o'clock.

We don't serve lunch, but we can offer you a lunchpackage at € 5,00 p.p.

We offer our guests a four course home-cooked dinner on Monday.
The dinner price is € 24,50 (wine not included).

We serve selfbottled Bourgondic housewine.

On demand we offer a three couse diner at €21,50 at the day of arrival. Please inform us in time (one day ahead)

We like to advise you on the restaurants in our neighbourhood and the choice of the bourgognic tavernes.

Our garden, and terraces are at your services to relax.

All rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet. All beds are boxspring quality 200 x 90 cm.

Start your day with a lovely breakfast on the veranda.
If you want to venture a bit further out, there are the cities Beaune and Dijon to visit.

When you return at the end of the day we will be waiting for you with a glass of Burgundy wine in the garden.

The only sounds you will hear are the murmering of the Yonne and the singing of the birds.
